Since its establishment in 1875, the Ventura Fire Department has seen five of our brave firefighters make the ultimate sacrifice in service to their community. We and remember these fallen heroes who lost their lives in the Line of Duty. Their passing brings profound tragedy, yet also a remarkable honor for the families and friends who cherished and loved. The names of these courageous individuals are forever engraved on the Fallen Fighter Memorials at the Ventura County Government Center and the International Association of Fire’ Memorial wall in Colorado Springs, Colorado, ensuring they are never forgotten.
