This incredibly challenging open-ocean swim relay aims to promote first responders from various rescue departments coming together to raise awareness regarding multi-agency collaboration and help strengthen the non-profit Ventura Fire Honor Guard’s ability to provide participant scholarships, specifically for First Responder-Ocean Lifeguards and the top awarded CSLA-Ventura Jr. Lifeguards to attend the 2027 Ventura 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Ocean lifeguards need to be better supported as first responders, so Ventura is doing just that. Please help this great endeavor by supporting the 15 dedicated & brave Ventura first responders! Fun fact to keep in mind, in total, the first responder team adds up to giving 224 & ½ years of service in the military and as rescue heroes!
